I booked two nights in an Executive Suite at the Holiday Inn Greensboro Coliseum for 10,000 points!
From MillionMileSecrets.com, IHG made their fall PointBreaks promotion active this morning - and it appears to have slowed their servers to a crawl! This promotion offers reward nights at a limited number of IHG properties for just 5,000 points per night! The terms for this promotion include:

For two of my Georgia Tech football road games this fall, I was able to book the limit of two PointBreaks reservations at the new Greensboro Coliseum Holiday Inn in Greensboro, NC. Each reservation was for an Executive Suite. This cost me a total of 10,000 IHG points but I was able to cancel an existing reservation for one of these nights that had cost me 10,000 points already! So, thanks to PointBreaks, my rewards balance remains unchanged and I will avoid paying for one of the two nights I booked. As an added bonus, as an Chase IHG Rewards MasterCard holder, I will receive 10% of these points rebated to my account, making my total cost only 9,000 points!
